At the earliest date possible we are looking for a

Service technician / Service engineer (female/male)

for the section of service in measuring and analytical engineering
Your main tasks and activities will be

  • Independent mounting, maintenance and repair of physical measuring and analyzing systems
  • Error analysis and debugging as well as preparation of the related relevant documentations
  • Customer and operator training in operating and maintaining of the devices and systems
  • Competent technical advice to the customers as the basis for the development and the strengthening of successful business relations
  • Close cooperation with the relevant professional departments within the company as well as with the head of production
  • Recording of client and system data as well as preparation of detailled operation reports
  • Working within a service project team in several locations

Your personality and qualification

  • University degree in a technical discipline or a completed apprenticeship in the section of mechatronics or electronics assembly or in a comparable qualification
  • Ideally work experience in the area of technical service
  • Good command in the areas precision engineering, electrical engineering and electronic engineering
  • Analytic, structured and goal-oriented way of working, both independent as well as in a team
  • Good command of German and English as well as the willing to frequently travel on business at home and abroad
  • Driving licence Class B

Mechatronics technician (female/male)

for measuring and analysing systems
Your main tasks and activities will be

  • Mounting of mechanical, electrical and electronic assemblies in Weimar
  • Final assembly and technical commissioning of measurement and analysing systems at the end customers’ site
  • Close collaboration with designers to fine tune technical details
  • Coordination with production management regarding time and organizational processes
  • Cross-site collaboration in service project teams

Your personality and qualification

  • Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician / engineer
  • Ideally, already have work experience in the industrial sector
  • Good communication skills as well as cost and quality awareness
  • High degree of initiative as well as time and requirement flexibility
  • Safe handling of production drawings and parts lists as well as common 3D data
  • Secure use of MS Office applications
  • Drivers licence class B
  • Good command of English as well as willingness to travel at home and abroad
